Requirements for articles

To publish an article in the scientific journal "Lviv Philological Journal" No. 16/2024, please send the following materials to the Этот адрес электронной почты защищен от спам-ботов. У вас должен быть включен JavaScript для просмотра. no later than October 28, 2024:

1. Article designed according to the above requirements.

2. Fill in the author's help.

The journal's editorial staff reviews the article internally, after which the authors receive an e-mail confirmation that the article is accepted for publication.

Academic integrity
The Editorial Board guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of articles and their check for plagiarism using the software StrikePlagiarism.com developed by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.

The editorial staff receives and registers DOI for articles.

Publication requirements:
Submit the manuscript in * .doc format (MSWord): Times New Roman font, size 14, 1.5 line spacing, left, top, bottom 2.5 cm, right 1 cm. Paragraph indent - 1.25 cm.

Article structure:

1. On the left is the UDC.

2. Name, surname, patronymic, information on author (s) (academic degree, academic title, position, name and address of the organization in which the author (s) work in the article (s)). The maximum number of authors in the article is three.

3. Title of the article. Must contain no more than 10 words and reveal the essence of the problem.

4. Summary (250 to 300 words) and keywords in the language of the article (5-10 words).

5. Articles should have the following necessary elements (bolded in the body of the article):

1) statement of the problem in the general form and substantiation of its relevance;

2) analysis of recent research and publications;

3) formulation of the purpose and objectives of the article;

4) a summary of the main research material;

5) conclusions and prospects for further research.

6. References prepared in accordance with the DSTU 8302: 2015 developed in 2015 of the National Standard of Ukraine “Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General Terms and Conditions of Assembly. " Download sample design literature. It is given in alphabetical order. The article should include references to foreign language sources (at least 25% of the total number of links). Illustrate sources of illustrative material separately.

7. References. Designed according to APA Style Reference Citations. Author (transliteration), article title (transliteration), article title (square brackets translated into English), source name (transliteration), source data in English. Example:

Busel, V.T. (2005). Velykyi tlumachnyi slovnyk suchasnoi ukrainskoi movy [Great explanatory dictionary of modern Ukrainian language]. Kyiv, Irpin: Perun [in Ukrainian].

8. Name, patronymic, information of the author (s) (academic degree, academic title, position, name and address of the organization (s) in which the author (s) work (s) in Ukrainian or English (other than the language of the article)

9. Title of the article in Ukrainian or English (different from the language of the article).

10. Resume (250 to 300 words) and keywords in Ukrainian (if article in English) or English (if article in other languages) (5-10 words).

The transliteration of names is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On the regularization of the transliteration of the Ukrainian alphabet in Latin” No. 55 of January 27, 2010. Translation by means of online services is inadmissible.

The following quotation marks should be used in the text: "universal domination of Internet resources" ... (in Ukrainian) and such quotes "neologisms" (in foreign language). The references to theoretical sources should be given in the text according to the list of literature in parentheses as follows:

1) one source (Tyle, 2002, p. 1528);

2) two or more sources (Cruse, 2006; Kövecses, 2015; Sharifan, 2017);

3) source without the page (Rowling, 2003).

Illustrations (diagrams, graphs, diagrams, etc.) should be numbered within the article and accompanied by a caption (for example, Fig. 1. Basic categories of narrative sentences). The tables are also numbered within the article and accompanied by the name placed above the table in the center.

Examples of illustrative material are in quotation marks and italics. Examples containing more than one sentence should be placed in a separate paragraph 15 mm indent from the left bank.

Publication volume: 12-20 pages.

The publications are accepted electronically and are checked by the Anti-plagiarism system. The editorial board reserves the right to reject articles that do not meet these requirements, to return the authors for revision, and also reserves the right to edit the materials, their reduction and clarification of the title. The content, accuracy and credibility of the facts, quotations and vocations presented are the responsibility of the author.

Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.

Cost of publication
The publication fee is 1300 UAH (for 12 pages). Each extra page is 50 UAH. The publication fee covers expenses associated with reviewing, article proofreading and editing, journal mocking-up and publication of its electronic version.

If desired, an author can order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 800, which is paid in addition to the public
